My name is Yaret Méndez, I am Licenciada en Veterinaria por la Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria I am registered with the Illustrious Official College of Veterinary Profession of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Desde 2014, la Rehabilitación es mi trabajo y pasión, with Neurology and fascia being my fundamental pillars for understanding the mobility of our animals.
For me, the foundation of a professional is continuous training, which is why, whenever possible, I participate in courses and conferences, learning from prestigious national and international speakers. These include: neurology, geriatric patient management, western acupuncture, manual therapy, veterinary orthopaedics, neuromuscular taping or kinesiotaping, ozone therapy, myofascial pain, supplementation, musculoskeletal ultrasonography, as well as updates on the physical therapies we use in Veterinary Rehabilitation.
In 2018, I had the good fortune to present the first Oral Communication of a Clinical Case on Rehabilitation at a Congress held on our islands, sharing with colleagues the importance of this specialty.«5th Canary Islands Pet Congress«)
